At every corner, in every town, every village
In Africa there stands a small shop.

A tiny shop where you buy just about anything, and everything
From the A place where the unlikely meet and share experiences
Stories and laughter shared.  A space of consul and solace. Spiced and seasoned with African story telling.

It is the  Spaza of South Africa, Duga Jak of Gambia, the various stores of Yoruba and Kanti of the Hausa people, the Tuck-shops of Zimbabwe and Ntemba of Zambia.

Here in East Africa, we call it Duka.  Mama Duka the TV Series is based on such a Duka.

Karibu kwa Duka: Welcome to our shop.

Changes Seasons I-II

Commissioned by Africa leading Pay TV, DSTV/MNET, Zebra Productions wrote and produced three seasons of the first East African high end drama.

Changes is the story of neighbours, six couples of diverse characters and backgrounds living in a Nairobi upmarket apartment block.  They all work hard to find their own successes in career, relationship, social and economic status. Relations ships come into the spotlight as different ambitions and motivations drive each individual’s actions.  With marriage, love, family, deceit, greed as some of the main themes, the show is jam-packed with drama and entertainment.

The story spans the corporate world, the Nairobi underground and sophisticated syndicated crimes and the inevitable crime detectives.

It is modern, griping and aspirational.
